1. What we collect

• Account details — your email address, and a securely hashed password (or a Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
• Subscription status — whether your account has an active Pro membership, and a customer reference supplied by Paddle.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Paddle. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data — basic technical logs such as request times and errors, used to keep the service running.

2. Market data requests

When you look up a ticker, our server requests that data from Finnhub using our own API key. Your identity is not passed to Finnhub; only the ticker and date range are sent.

3. Why we use it

To create and secure your account, to determine whether you can access Pro tools, to take and manage payment, and to diagnose faults. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who processes it

• Our hosting and database provider, to store your account record.
• Paddle, as the Merchant of Record for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Finnhub, to supply market data.

5. Retention

We keep your account record while your account is open. If you delete your account we remove your account record, other than information we are required to retain for tax or accounting purposes.

6. Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account.

7. Cookies and local storage

We store a session token in your browser so you stay signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
